Build:
Half-pound burger patty, double cheddar, smoked bacon aioli, lettuce, tomato, and onion on a fresh brioche bun

This burger is in the same price range as Houston's restaurant ($18) but it's far better...
I was very apprehensive about ordering a burger at Daddy O's because albeit a minimalistic menu, all the choices are excellent. But there was a chill in the air that night as the weather was turning toward fall and it created a desire for comfort food, (sushi wasn't going to cut it). So, I ordered the burger...
This is where I must apologize for the crappy photos. My medium rare burger was delivered at a perfect temp with very fresh toppings and bun, and the smoked bacon aioli was just perfect, not overdone.
It's amazing how the flavor of freshly ground beef is so very different from even day-old ground meat. The texture and tenderness are fantastic, and with a nicely charred skin it just doesn't get any better.
I feel sorry for the haters who ask, “It's just a burger, how good could it be?" If you don't know by now, you never will so go back to your veggie or black bean burger.
Not much else needed to hammer this one home. I highly recommend trying Daddy O's burger.
