For a while now i have been very strict with what i put on my hair. I used to use some really good heat protectors, potions and lotions. That all stopped when my hair took a lot better to hair dye with less use of all the hair products. But over the last few weeks now I've kinda got fed up with having to brush my hair every 5 minutes, it become matted even after just styling my hair.
I could not take no more of this i needed to be able to run my fingers through my hair with out them getting stuck.
So i had my eyes set on a product that's been raved about all over you tube and within the blogging world. As Tesco had a 3 for 2 over on their hair care, i decided on picking up VO5 Miracle Concentrate and another product that i shall be doing a separate post on.
VO5 Miracle Concentrate is a hair oil infused with Argan oil but for a more affordable price. It's an intensive leave in treatment. The oil is high in vitamin E, rich in antioxidants to help fight against free radicals. Also hydrating & deeply conditioning.
Use on towel tried hair, drop a few drops with the dropper, rub in to your hands and disperse through your hair. The oil can also be used as a serum to tame frizz and add shine. The oil has a slight pretty floral scent to it, subtle and not over powering.
I use 3-4 drops and rub in to towel dried hair. At the moment my hair doesn't really need a finishing treatment. I tend to just spray a little hairspray and I'm done. I do use this with another product and the two work really well together.
I still use the cheapest shampoo and conditioner, but after this step my hair still needed that little extra to make it more manageable. My hair now feels softer, healthy and easier to style.
This little pot consists of 50mls of product, i think it's going to last some time. It's a steal for under a fiver.
VO5 Miracle Concentrate is available at Tesco, Boots and most drugstore/supermarkets.

ReplyDeleteYeah its a great product, have you ever used it in your own shampoo like you can with other oils? x
ReplyDeleteI haven't mixed it with shampoo but I've mixed it with my hair colour which stopped it from drying out my hair too much. It's such a handy product! x
