Method of Application
In most cases you can send your study application at the same time as your scholarship application. However, for some scholarships (eg FIRS), applicants will only be considered if they have already received a firm offer of an academic place to study at Leeds and applicants are therefore asked to submit their study application form well before the Scholarship closing date.

Search the database for current opportunities according to your nationality, subject and level of study (i.e. postgraduate taught or postgraduate research degrees). You can submit your scholarship application form by email (scholarships@leeds.ac.uk) in the first instance to ensure that Leeds receive a copy of your application before the closing date. Graduate scholarships are awarded for studies commencing in either September or October. Pay particular attention to the closing dates for the submission of applications. Deadlines depend on scholarship you're applying for. Scholarships are awarded from March through to July each year.
PLEASE NOTE:
Scholarships are competitive and it is important to make enquiries and apply to all possible sources of funding at an early stage. As a general rule, Leeds will inform you of the outcome of your application approximately 8 weeks after the closing date of the scholarship competition. Some Scholarships, however, have a longer administration process.
You can apply for any scholarship for which you meet the eligibility criteria.
