Scholarship Description
The University of the West of England, Bristol offers a range of scholarships for international postgraduate students each year. This includes the Millennium Scholarship.
The Millennium Development Scholarship is targeted to international students who wish to attain Millennium Development goals within their country.
Successful applicants must show how the scholarship will help them attain the Millennium Development goals within their country, and will also be required to undertake both an internship and an ambassadorial activity as part of the programme.

A total of 2 scholarship awards are offered - 1 for the September 2018 entry; AND another one for the January 2019 entry
Sponsorship duration
This is a tuition award - it will last throughout duration of programme
Scholarship benefits
50% tuition fee scholarship will be awarded for an outstanding student to study a one year Masters programme at UWE
The recipient of this scholarship will be required to undertake an internship working within the International Development Office and other departments, and will also be required to undertake ambassadorial activity for the University throughout the duration of the course.

You must have received an offer for a Master’s Programme at UWE before you can apply for this scholarship. Applicants can apply via their UWE Welcome portal by completing the scholarship task by the deadline date below.

- Hold an unconditional offer or a conditional offer where IELTS or equivalent English language is the only condition
- Be a new student to UWE Bristol with no previous UK study
- Be classed as overseas for fees purposes
- Not be a sponsored student or in receipt of another scholarship/award
- Provide official transcripts at the time of application
